Former Ginetta G50 champion Nathan Freke will make his British GT3 debut at Silverstone this weekend partnering Ian Stinton in the Stark Racing Ginetta G55 GT3.

Stinton and his Stark Racing team made a number of appearances in the 2012 British GT Championship with their Ginetta G55 GT3 car. The new partnership with Nathan Freke begins at Silverstone’s GP circuit this weekend for the first three hour endurance race of the championship.

Speaking about the deal from his base in Fenny Compton, Nathan expressed his delight at getting back behind the wheel after a lengthy break. “I’m absolutely delighted that Ian has chosen me to partner him for his return to British GT this weekend. The G55 GT3 is an amazing looking car and I’m confident that my experience in the similar G55 from the Ginetta GT Supercup over the last couple of years will help me acclimatise very quickly. At the moment we are just teaming up for this weekend so I’m really hoping we can put up a very strong showing amongst the seasoned regulars. I’ve been working really hard behind the scenes to try and secure a full time professional GT drive or a driver to partner with in a competitive package and this opportunity presents a great chance to prove myself in the ultra competitive British GT3 championship, widely regarded as the most competitive at this time.”

Round 4 of the British GT Championship begins with Free Practice at 9am on Saturday morning 25th May at Silverstone’s GP Circuit.
