Century Motorsport look set to start an early winter testing programme with their Ginetta G55 when they take to the track for the Britcar Donington Night Race on Saturday 2nd November.

The two hour night race will see one of the team’s latest signing’s Tom Oliphant join Team Principal Nathan Freke at the Leicestershire circuit.

Oliphant is a recent newcomer to Ginetta racing, taking in the Rockingham and Silverstone rounds of the Ginetta GT Supercup towards the end of this season, which led to his announcement to join the team for a full campaign in 2014. Freke on the other hand is a very accomplished GT racer fresh from a two hour British GT4 race victory at the same circuit some three weeks ago with co-driver Declan Jones. This blend of speed and experience should allow the pair to race very competitively over the course of the two hour race.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Team Principal Nathan Freke said, “I’m really looking forward to racing with Tom on this event. He’s been totally converted to this type of racing from single seaters, but this will be his first endurance event with a second driver, making it a great new challenge for him.”
